I LIKE BANANAS
Greetings, Jase. You... you look slightly...
bananaish...
And welcome everyone else! Please, feel free to acquaint yourself with the Essential Guides (...gee, I'm so original) and ask any questions you may have.

Yes, as a matter of fact, alive is a thing that I still happen to be.
Surprise!

Good to see you all!
Who likes Excel and writing background fluff?

Is it Moff? Does Moff like Excel and writing background fluff?

Well, yes... but does anyone want to help Moff?

What kind of background fluff?
Re: Flips the Switch

Short, slightly biased descriptions of ships and vehicles.

Milennium Falcon: Very fast; finicky hyperdrive; not pronounced 'Fuhlcon'
Slave 1: Kickflippingly rad ship of a character who got robbed of being awesome on screen
Executor: Really BIG Star Destroyer; severe weakness to A-Wings
X-Wing: Class of one-man fighter craft that are really ridiculously good at destroying outlandishly large superweapons
TIE Fighter: Hahahahahahaha
Do I... do I win?

...The other option is a Kantai Collection version of Star Wars. Do you want me turning Star Destroyers into anime schoolgirls?
DO YOU?!

Tsk tsk. :p
So, anyone start familiarizing themselves with the timeline? <_<

I have, a little. I should probably go through it again and get better familiarized.
Is all the stuff you tweaked centered around the Movie eras and after and will my existing knowledge of Star Wars history work for the rest; or should I go through the whole thing?
I also can't help but notice that there's a bit of a gap in the Battle of Endor in precisely how things ended differently in total. I've see different damage dealt to both Luke and Vader, but beyond that it's kind of vague as to what else changed.
Intentional design?

Endor's not done yet. Couple things to wrap up, but SPOILERS
Writing up how Luke gets away from Palpatine; how they escape, and how the Rebels break action. After that, we skip ahead to the Battle of Coruscant and the end of the Imperial Civil War.
Then we begin. I had a map made, but it's... butchered by an awful program.
EDIT: And Jase, you may not turn my ISDs into this:
*shakes fist dramatically*

So having just read through the entire history page, and presuming you can give an answer without giving away spoilers, is it safe to assume that this RP is going to be taking its primary canon cues from the Lucasverse rather than Disney's canon and the new movie?

Took me a little time to read it all, for a year by year timeline, it was a good length. I for one hope we go with "Lucasverse" rather than Disneyverse.

We're a modified Lucasverse, yes. I dropped TOR and some other things here and there, just for the sake of historical sense (giant war that the Republic loses... and no one remembers that. Or the Sith.)
I also stretched the Clone Wars out a little, tweaked the end of ROTS so Padme doesn't die in childbirth (she dies on Alderaan instead when Leia is young)...

Any news on the status of the Jedi in this universe? Though, from where I read up to, I don't think you got that far in the history yet, if planned at all.

And on a different topic (not to cut off a response to the above), maybe this could be a discussion in and of itself, but anyone been up to anything interesting in the time between Unity kind of dying and now?
I know I've certainly been busy with things
