This RPG could not have been brought to fruition without the assistance of many others. I suppose, for starters, I ought to thank George Lucas for his initial, creative spark and bringing us this universe in the first place. We might not always agree with where he and others took it, but one wonders what science fiction could be like without that release of the movie no one thought would float in May 1977...
At any rate, in no particular order, I would like to thank:
Flying Ace of SWGBH
HanSolo29 (aka Han)
The Crazed Ewok, for your friendship, kicking me in the ass when I needed it... and for the coding
David Weber
Mark Rosenfelder, Philip Athans, R.A. Salvatore, Ken Burnside and Thomas Pope, for giving me the material and ability to strike out on my own... ensuring this game is a labor of love and not necessity
Lauren Faust, for her creations giving me the strength I needed to reshape this universe
SQUAD, Scott Manley, Macey Dean, and the rest of the Kerbal Space Program luminaries
Drew Karpyshyn, Jennifer Hale, Ali Hillis, Casey Hudson, and Bioware for my second greatest science fiction love ever
Jack Wall, David Kates, Jimmy Hinson, Clint Mansell, Christopher Lennertz, Cris Velasco, Sam Hulick, and Sascha Dikiciyan for their amazing and inspirational music
Mac Walters... because I really couldn't include him with the rest of the Bioware people, and he did write most of Garrus' dialog which is awesome. YMMV on the end of ME3, but... it worked for me. :p
The rest of the cast and crew of the Mass Effect series
Jill Wolski
Doctor Charles Scholes, Doctor Carla Theimer, and Doctor Marina Petrukhina, for their tutelage and patience... and a few handy formulae
Doctor Phillip Goyal and his team-based teaching methods
Doctor Eric Woods, Phil Erner, and Zach Richards, with whom I truly discovered the wonders of the stars
Carl Sagan, for the inspiration all those years ago
Derek Capo and the Tyderian Sector RPG
The keepers of Wookieepedia
The Galactic Empire Databank
Imperial Navy Ship Database
The Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia
Mike Stoklasa, Jay Bauman, Rich Evans, Karen Traviss, Kevin James Anderson, Rick McCallum, and Dave Filoni and the crew of The Clone Wars... for showing me that choosing your own canon is the best policy
Matthew Stover, for providing an invaluable addition to our canon
Jason Fry, Paul Urquhart, and Daniel Wallace, for expanding on the rich background of the universe this game is set in... and showing how vast and epic it truly can be
Daniel Ingraham, for his uplifting and cheerful music
Ian Fleming
Pavel Mococh (apologies if I've mangled that)
Doctor Curtis Saxton, for certain images and theoretical concepts... if not the full logical extensions of those concepts
Ronald D. Moore
Gardner Francis Cooper Fox and Bruce Timm
James Cameron, for the one about the scary battle droids... not the blue ecokitties.
Paul Charlton aka TheMightyJingles for... just being awesome, and for the naval tactics lessons
Reiko Yoshida, Tsutomu Mizushima, and especially Shiro Hamaguchi for that delightful and bizarre little show about Japanese schoolgirls driving World War Two tanks as a school sport... and for the soundtrack that helped me write a lot of the background material for this game.
Popeychops of Age of Kings Heaven for helping me get into the aforementioned show.
And last but not least, to Chuck Sonnenburg, for the laughs and for your pro-think attitude.
