1. Treat your fellow players, the moderators, and administrators with respect. You can dislike each other for whatever reason--I won't enforce some yuppie "we're all friends here" nonsense--but on this forum, at least a basic modicum of civility and respect is expected.
- a. Don't spam. It's annoying and disrespectful to the community.
b. Don't flame each other. There's a difference between good-natured ribbing and personal attacks; the former is okay, the latter will land you in hot water.
c. Don't harass each other on or off the forum. Again, it's disrespectful (and a targeted form at that) and can edge into criminality.
d. Keep in-character tiffs in-character. It's a game. For fun. Conversely, do not take personal issues into the game.
e. Don't intentionally derail discussions; that's a form of spamming.
f. The PM system is a part of the forum and subject to all rules that apply to the forum. Don't try to use it for ill-intentioned reasons.
3. No posting porn, gorn, or shock sites. These will merit an automatic ban. This includes the Private Messaging system.
4. We are a mature audience forum. I am designing this game and forum with responsible adults in mind; if you're under sixteen, you probably shouldn't be here, but that is simply a recommendation. If you're under thirteen, you will be banned in accordance with COPPA. However, this is not license to be unnecessarily abusive, crude, or crass in off-topic forums or with each other.
5. Anyone posting genuinely illegal content (child pornography, etc) will be permabanned and have their information reported to all appropriate authorities.
