So we're currently waiting for a couple more prelude posts before the game officially officially opens, correct?

Sorry, guys. Got snagged with a lot of stuff for research this week. On the bright side, I may isolate a new class of compounds. :p

I'm working, I'm working. And we'll knock it down to one. <_<

I feel like I may have cut off Sahana's question, but what is the current status of Jedi and force-users in this timeline? Is that something that's going to be addressed in the prelude posts, is it up in the air, or what's the story there?

Palpatine and Darth Vader survive their encounter with Luke at Endor. Luke also survives, and Kyle Katarn is floating around. The Imperial Inquisitorious is extant, but depleted like much of the rest of the Empire due to defection and combatting said defections (and Kyle Katarn :P). As for the Jedi as founded by Luke, it's less certain. I wanted to leave that open to the player... because we had one at one point.

Might Luke try to raise a large group of Jedi, or take a one-on-one approach... or might he instead, due to circumstances, decide he shouldn't be. I'm leaning toward Luke--as of 4 ABY (year 39), anyway--thinking of restarting a Jedi Order. But what happens in the intervening years is more than I'm willing to impose unless and until absolutely necessary.

So with the Ams app now officially posted and approved, does that mean we're open to start applying with our own characters or would it be better to wait until you finish with the intro postings?

And is it just me, or is it just probably the holidays, or is a tad, well, kind of dead around here right at the moment?

All of the above. And yes, you guys have been welcome to post apps since I linked you to the site. You're also welcome to ask any and all questions you feel necessary while I write the last third of Endor (I updated the second post; fixed some proofreading errors and extended it a bit to something more interesting).

To post APPS. <_<

The game's not open yet. That's the whole reason I even put up Ams; so you guys would see that. :P

And all I've done is post an app

Is it viable to post an app and then actually create the account for the character if/when they've been approved, or would it be better to just go ahead and create the character account from the get-go?

If you're concerned about controversy, I'd suggest keeping the original account and waiting for approval.

I wouldn't say I was worried about controversy, but thanks even so. :P

So can I safely delete the bookmark for Unity now? :)

I'm not sure it's ever safe... the Ewok does do the server side of things. <_<

I dislike your crappy crop job on your avatar, so I made you a quick one that should be more to my/your liking.

Also, should have my character up here soonish, been busy with work, card tournaments, and MGSV.

What kind of card tournaments?

And on another note, anyone want to hear a Star Wars joke?

Q:
Spoiler: show
Why did Darth Vader lose on Mustafar?
A:
Spoiler: show
Because Obi Won.

I would hope it would be a Magic The Gathering tournament, but alas, I don't have money to keep up with MTG. However, the new card game Force of Will, is much more manageable at the moment. It's mechanics are very similar to Magic and EDH, while drawing from a few other card games as well. My appeal to it is its anime art style and it's unique twists with some fo the cards characters.

Also, your joke gave me a laugh.

That joke is still funnier than all of the alleged "humor" in the PT. :P

I mostly play EDH/Commander myself. That and pre-release and the occasional draft. I find it's a lot easier to keep up with things that way, and I think it's a lot more fun a format to boot.

On the other hand, I also have like somewhere in the range of 7 or 8+ EDH decks, even if none of them are outfitted to be as efficient or 'winning' as possible, so it's probably not quite as much a money saver as it would first sound.

I have five EDH decks, two of which I built for my girlfriend. I have come to enjoy it more than the other formats now of days. Allot more relaxed, and much better in multiplayer scenarios. Though I do sometimes run into those decks with ridiculous infinite combos that though fun, aren't fun at the same time when you lose to them.

I try to make good decks, though I wouldn't see them winning any tournaments in EDH had its own league...which it may, I've just never seen one.

What colors do you usually prefer to run?

My personal preference leans towards White, followed by Red, then Blue, then Green.

I'm calling Endor done, my little ponies. So welcome aboard and enjoy! :D

I need to go to bed. I'm sure that final bit is full of typos and horrible grammar.

Are we going to get a map of any kind to get a basic sense of what territory is under whose control?
